Hello everyone, My partner and I have been tackling some do-it-yourself projects recently, resulting in several enjoyable creations. Among them is a ‘mummification board’. We took a large wooden slab, carved out the shape of my body, padded it with foam, and covered it with leather. As a computer programmer by trade, my knowledge of woodworking and metalwork is quite limited. One concept we’re considering involves mounting the board vertically against a wall so she can wrap me up while standing. Another possibility is to incorporate this into a sort of suspension bondage setup. What I’d appreciate help with is identifying suitable materials for such a construction. I have some general notions on how to build it, but I’m unsure about load capacities—specifically how much weight metal pipes or wooden planks can support. Also, what type of fasteners work best for attaching things securely to walls and ceilings? So, hoping someone here can guide me!:) Thank you very much!
