I’ve always battled with mental health challenges, particularly anxiety and depression, which have been part of my life for as long as I can recall. My fiancé has truly been the best thing to come into my world; she handles my condition gracefully without ever making me feel lesser because of it. Her patience and care are major reasons behind the success I’ve enjoyed so far.
With that context in mind, here is what I want to share.
Since being locked full-time by her recently, I have observed a rather wonderful change: my happiness has grown significantly. My everyday battles with my condition feel more manageable now. I seem to have more energy, and I am more affectionate, loving, and attentive toward my fiancé. There is a spring in my step, and even at work—I noticed my manager commenting on it slightly embarrassingly—I appear happier overall. Basically, I feel closer to the person I want to be.
My fiancé believes this happens because being locked serves as a constant physical reminder of her love, though she isn’t entirely certain about why.
I’d like to know if anyone else has gone through something similar or knows what might cause it?
Thanks in advance, Best wishes, Subseries
