Cage Erection Fit and Effectiveness

I’m curious about how well these chastity gadgets work in practice, specifically regarding whether they stop or hold back an erection. My Keyholder is leaning towards the MM locking cock ring (to start with) and probably a Queens Keep down the road.

While looking through images online of these contraptions, I stumbled upon several photos showing men who are fully erect while wearing a chastity cage. Granted, most of those pictures came from porn videos featuring actors. However, what stands out to me is that it seems entirely possible to achieve full erection with the cage on; both the testicles and the device get pulled up along the shaft. What you see is an elongated scrotum, essentially turning the chastity cage into a helmet for the glans.

Does this happen because they weren’t sized correctly? Or are most people wearing them simply not keen on showing off that aspect of the gear?

My sac is quite flexible (I’m 50). I’m concerned that either what I described above is standard, or that I might end up with an ill-fitting setup.
