Yesterday evening, after being locked up for four days and due for a cleaning checkup, the padlock jammed shut; neither of our two keys could open it. It was a fun few minutes figuring out how this would play out, whether I’d stay put indefinitely, if this signaled going permanent, and who or when someone might come to help. In the end, luckily, I used some silicone spray to lube the lock in the padlock, and yes, it did the trick. I’m not using that padlock right now but thinking about taking another chance on it, lol
