I’d like to tell you about my experience building a homemade chastity cage out of iron wire. I’ve done quite a bit of testing, produced many prototypes, and have recently settled on the shape and size that suit me best. The ideal gauge is around 3mm; anything thinner will dig unpleasantly into your skin during an erection inside the device, while thicker wire makes it too bulky and heavy, difficult to conceal under clothes, and harder to bend. The base ring features a rubber sleeve to prevent chafing and measures about 6mm in thickness. I crafted mine with an unusual, non-round shape which I find more comfortable.

I originally planned to paint the cage black but decided against it because the natural finish gives it a lovely dungeon aesthetic. You can use any nickel- or zinc-plated wire, or even PVC-coated options. It’s quite simple to construct if you have basic handyman skills, allowing you to experiment with various shapes and sizes until you find what is most comfortable and secure.

We practice chastity for enjoyment rather than as a 24/7 lifestyle, but I go about 30 hours without any issues—in fact, when not erect, I barely notice it. Nighttime erections do rouse me from sleep, yet they don’t hurt; quite the opposite, I find them enjoyable and arousing!:)

The photos should explain everything clearly. You begin with the base ring, construct the locking mechanism first, and then proceed to form the curved structure. When returning to the base, start wrapping the wire around the curve.

Pay attention: the initial loop passes beneath the curve, while subsequent loops go above it. This design helps the cage maintain its shape when clothing presses against your body. If you place all loops above, pressure from garments can push the upper curve inward toward the center of the cage, causing uncomfortable squeezing on the penis. The first lower loop anchors it firmly to the wall.
