Hi everyone, I’d like to share some details about my Gerecke titanium contraption. After My Lovely Mistress and I discarded all the plastic, less secure options (my personal perspective:)), we chose a steel model. It had to be a tube since belts just aren’t comfortable enough. We purchased the STEEL force tube from Gerecke, complete with an extra spiked ring. This setup was secure (forget about pull-outs thanks to those spikes) but quite heavy! I tried adding various belts and such; it was bearable but not as cozy as I hoped. So, I kept searching until Frank Gerecko introduced the titanium version of this tube. This titanium tube is slightly heavier than plastic ones yet stronger than steel, so we decided quickly and placed an order. It’s been eight weeks in the tube with no release, and I highly recommend it to everyone. It’s easy to manage (I wear tight shorts) and discreet. In my case, pull-out isn’t possible due to the spiked ring. I only took off two lower spikes because they irritated my skin caused wounds), but security remains unchanged without them. Each morning I apply some baby oil, and that’s it. I’ve discovered chalk powder is also helpful during warmer weather; I put some at the bottom to absorb sweat and reduce friction.
