I bought a Jail Bird from MM and it arrived in roughly 2.5 weeks. The order notification had stated a delivery window of two to three weeks, so it came exactly as promised. Every email I sent, both prior to purchasing and after the order was placed, received quick replies; communication with MM is excellent.

I also custom-ordered a base ring sized at 42mm without any issues, and it fits perfectly. There has been no discoloration of my testicles caused by nocturnal erections.

Regarding the product itself: The base ring is an oval shape measuring 42mm across. It isn’t a perfect circle; rather, the top appears pressed down to create that distinct oval profile, and it works well. The finish on the unit is bright and very nice. There are no rough edges, and honestly, I couldn’t really spot where the weld seam was located. It has been buffed and polished exceptionally well.

The cage dimensions were 1-1/4 inches in diameter by 2-1/2 inches in length. Everything feels properly shaped, showing careful craftsmanship throughout. I chose the Anti-Pullout system, and the plate on top looks like it was cast as a single piece of metal. It is smooth with absolutely no rough spots.

Pay close attention to sizing. Since the 1/8-inch rods are positioned in the middle of the 1/4-inch rings, you get some additional clearance. I went with a 1-1/4 inch cage, but now I wish I had opted for either a 1-1/8 or even a 1-inch size.

A major factor in choosing the Jail Bird design was its open structure. Being active in athletics, I found that the CB6000 trapped too much moisture, making it hard to keep myself clean properly. This model lets me cleanse as needed without taking off the device. Additionally, my wife noticed more irritation when I used the 6000s; we both believe this stemmed from those cleanliness issues. I was also worried that a plastic unit might eventually break if struck. That would be quite problematic. A metal one will still hurt upon impact but won’t shatter or cut.

In short, every part of my purchase was handled professionally, and the product matches what was promised.
