What’s the best method you’ve discovered for chaste individuals to store their emergency key, especially when living apart? I realize trust plays a massive role. For me, it would be nearly impossible for the caged partner to cheat without my knowledge. Also, which of you have handed over both keys to your keyholder? How did that work out?
Many members here use reliable methods for their emergency keys. When I was caged, we taped the key securely with clear packing tape and my KH signed over it with a sharpie marker. I kept it in my briefcase. However, that worked because we weren’t long distance. Regarding your final question: Yes, I currently give both of my keys to my KH, and it suits our specific work/life balance perfectly. In fact, I wrote about this experience here on CM just last week.
