Short version: we headed out yesterday and encountered a metal detector that caught us off guard. I passed through without issue while wearing my 2.5-inch mature metal pet trap.
Longer, more detailed account; My wife/KH practices intermittent chastity with me, keeping me locked for periods ranging from a few days to several weeks. As the ticker indicates, this time around has been a week long. My wife views our intimate life as deeply private and personal, preferring that my cage remain completely unnoticed. However, I’ve mentioned before that she’s very comfortable knowing it stays hidden under trousers, allowing us to carry on with normal routines while caged. I go about work, see the kids, socialize with friends, etc. Yet yesterday’s metal detector was a surprise for both of us, and getting through it felt like a significant milestone.
We visited a massive state fair yesterday, an annual tradition, but as we neared the entrance, we noticed new metal detectors that weren’t there during our previous visits. I’d never passed through one while wearing my cage before, despite reading others’ accounts online. Still, anxiety crept in because of the large crowd and what seemed like non-professional security staff. Most crucially, I worried that if my caged status caused any fuss, it would significantly dampen my wife’s mood.
My wife definitely knew I was locked up; earlier that morning, while dressing, she spotted a long trail of pre-cum on the cage and found it funny. However, as she stepped toward the detector, her mind seemed to wander from that fact. I, however, was quite nervous! The man ahead of us set off the alarm due to buttons on his denim jacket, so I mentally rehearsed my “it’s body jewelry” line as I walked through to join my wife.
And just like that, it was over! No alert sound, no buzz—just a cheerful “enjoy the Big E” from the attendant as he returned my wallet, phone, and keys.
As we moved inside, I turned to my wife and said, “Well, I guess medical-grade steel isn’t enough to trigger the detector,” at which point she recalled that I was carrying a few ounces of stainless steel on my penis. Her expression was priceless as she laughed, waving her hand in front of my crotch like a magic wand, replying, “Oh yes, it would have been funny if you’d tried to explain THAT!”
What a huge step for both! If we had known the detectors were active beforehand, I’m fairly certain she would have preferred me uncaged. And I wouldn’t have argued much anyway, simply because there’s no need to turn my cage into “the issue,” and I prefer avoiding public embarrassment myself.
Later, she asked how I’d handled it mentally, and I replied that after some reading, I decided the answer was body jewelry. She agreed completely. Also, midway through the day, I had to run back to the car for a sweatshirt and passed through another detector with the same result.
I don’t want to overstate the significance of this experience, but it feels major for us. We did it, overcoming what would have been a significant mental hurdle. This was confirmed when neither of us gave it a second thought during our second pass through security once we knew the detectors were there.
A big step for us, and I am so glad it happened!
