My wife (38f) and I (31m) have always had a kinky side, enjoying pegging and dom play. However, last year the spark in my soulmate seemed to dim slightly after she was diagnosed with a rare type of bone cancer. For six months, we went through some uncertain times together. During periods when she felt less attractive or worried about advances from other women, I wore a chastity cage which helped reassure her mind. Now that she is hopefully fully in remission, we are able to enjoy quality time together.
She really loves this type of play; she’s full of energy again and our love feels deeper than ever. I did some deep reflection on my sexuality and desire, submitting myself long before the cage even came into play. For a while, it felt like I was losing her both mentally and physically, but I’m so glad to have her back as well.
As a large, fit, muscular man, caring for my small, frail wife during that time was a profoundly moving experience in my life. There were periods where I had to be the one in charge of everything around us. Now, with her health improving, I want to support her and be the best husband possible since we never know how much more time we have together.
I’m naturally stoic and live that way daily. Right now, as I navigate this stage of life, I enjoy submitting when it helps my progress. This submission feels like an oasis for me this year because I had felt cornered and constantly fighting just to survive while trying to stabilize our lives during her illness. We recently decided to return to college together so we can learn and experience everything possible; or perhaps follow what she decides.
