Hello all. I’ve been wearing my CB6000s intermittently for the past year. It’s quite comfortable, and I’ve kept it on for as long as three weeks without any trouble. I use the largest ring (50mm) along with the shortest distance pin, which suits me perfectly by filling every corner of the cage. Occasionally, after a day or two, it feels just a bit too long because my tip tends to pull back slightly from the end of the cage. However, it doesn’t slide down at all.
A couple of weeks ago, I decided to give a metal cage a try and ordered the House of Denial S73s with a 50mm ring. The issue is that it slides forward when I become erect or even semi-hard. About half my shaft ends up outside the tube, but getting an erection isn’t difficult while wearing it. With the CB6000s, however, erections are nearly impossible because they stay in place.
Both cages share the same inner ring diameter, though the HoD ring is made of thinner material compared to the CB’s thicker one. The CB features a locked tube design versus the open tube on the HoD, and it’s also shorter (45mm compared to the CB’s 63.5mm). Naturally, the HoD is steel rather than plastic.
Could the ring be too large despite having the same diameter? It might be that its thin, round shape lacks the grip of a thick, square profile? Or perhaps the cage itself is just too short? I’d really like to get a good fit before commissioning a custom piece. Best, trhcuck
