Mine was ready in about four months, and since mine is a ball trap with no extra weight pulling down on the pa, that worked well. -I initially thought 6 gauge would be large enough, but I found my body naturally stretches further over time. Within a year, I could wear either a 4 or even a 2 gauge. Personally, I prefer the appearance and sensation of the thicker gauge, and it allows for cleaner urination. I ended up with a 4 gauge now but can easily fit into a 2 if needed. I wouldn't go lower than 6. -Yes, that's exactly what I did. I found an Amazon cage that was slightly longer than my flaccid length and had vertical bars at the tip rather than a cross-hatch pattern. This seemed to help with healing by reducing bumps and accidental hits. More often than not, I think everything is fine only to look down and see a large wet spot. Mine was pierced at 16g. After a few weeks, I gently used a taper to move up to 12g. It took about two to two-and-a-half months for me to reach 4g/5mm, which matches the size of my Lori PA prong. I'm fairly confident I could insert a 2g now without issue since I haven't tried stretching it further myself. If there is no ball ring involved, I'd say 4g is the minimum viable size; however, if you are using a heavier Lori cage, 2g might be better. The PA prong helps direct urine into a good stream, though some dripping from the piercing itself is likely, so standing closer to the urinal helps. It made a significant mental difference for both me and my KH/GF.

Another thing: everyone bleeds differently, so keep feminine pads nearby. Mine didn't bleed much at first but went crazy overnight, so I slept on a towel. I used sanitary gauze and a magnum condom to create a little "burrito" wrap that applied pressure to the wound; it worked well and stopped bleeding within a few days. Would I do it again? ABSOLUTELY. Just get the procedure done and stop worrying. It hurts significantly less than getting an ear or nipple pierced, especially compared to a septum piercing. In fact, it's likely one of the least painful piercings available; we've all seen young children with pierced ears. I suggest waiting until you stop producing dried material (scabs) on the ring before caging. Once that happens, if you want to wear your device, I recommend frequent—if not daily—cleaning. Avoid putting strain on the piercing for about 6 to 8 weeks because you don't want it migrating. After that period, still avoid excessive strain for the same reason.

D gave me my piercing as a birthday gift seven years ago, after we got frustrated with ball trap devices that just didn't work properly. Issues included lack of security and pain around the scrotum, among others. We use a Lori's 5A ringless device. These are heavy, which dictates how the piercing must be set up: I wouldn't try using a Lori's ringless device with a piercing smaller than 2 gauge; we use 0 gauge and find it completely comfortable. The piercer was informed of our intended device. My piercing was placed well back from the glands to accommodate both the 0 gauge size and the weight of the device. I started at 10g and took twelve months to stretch up to 0g; slower is better in my view. The result has been no migration, with no pressure or pain when wearing a heavy ringless device. It requires significant commitment, but if you are seeking permanent chastity via a device that cannot be removed without the key, it is very much worth it. We have worn our 5A for over six years now, continuously (24/7/365). The only time we remove it is when I fly for work or vacation. We use an Evotion Wearables Bijou, a lighter plastic device that serves the same purpose as the Lori's. D locks this in place until the larger Lori's can be locked back on. The initial piercing was painful but became comfortable after about two days. The stretching process could sting slightly up to 4g, but it got easier afterward. I find it simply isn't worth the effort trying to use a urinal here. It can splash, and I don't see why I should impose our chastity lifestyle on others in public.
