For the first few months of this journey with our MM Jailbird, we took it slow. I wore it for short periods here and there, often during nights or when convenient. Since I was juggling numerous medical appointments while transitioning out of the military, I wanted to avoid any skin marks. Once those visits wrapped up, I began my initial three-day stint but kept possession of the key myself. Though occasionally uncomfortable, it wasn’t a major issue since I held control. After some chafing prompted me to remove it for a few days to heal, I told her I’d like another three days out this time with her holding the keys to see how that felt. The physical sensation was similar, but mentally… oh wow. She noticed my behavior shifting and remarked at the three-day mark: “I like your attitude; it’s better for me. Let’s try five or six days next.” I was amazed—she not only had control of the key but was also deciding the duration to suit her needs. It felt like a dream coming true. Ultimately, she kept me locked in for seven days, which I thought was fantastic.

She let me out and permitted me to touch myself while showering. She left me free for three days with plenty of liberty to play, which I did, though guilt crept in each time and I found myself missing my little cage. I just waited for her cue to go back in. Last night, as we walked up to my sister’s house (of all places), she casually mentioned that before bed tonight was the perfect time to get it secured again. It totally surprised me to know she had been thinking about it. Back home, while getting ready for sleep, she didn’t make a fuss; she simply handed me the key and said, “Here, hurry up, I need some rest.” When I asked how long she was considering this time around, she replied casually that we should start with another week and see where things go. After years of begging her to take more control, it feels good to get what I’ve been asking for, especially since she isn’t the type to back down once she starts something.
