Hey everyone! I’m kicking off a project that has me really excited! Lately, I discovered software named 123D Catch. It lets you snap several photos of an item from different angles and combine them to make a 3D image. This can then be converted into a mesh and tweaked in Meshmixer. From there, you can further customize it and generate solids in 123D Design. Finally, you send the design off to a printing service to get it made out of whatever material you prefer. All using open source tools! I think you see where this is heading. I have a vision, and it’s going to happen. My goal is to build a “virtual mold” of my penis and develop as many distinct designs for a chastity device around that mold as we can imagine, select the top one, and test it out. Throughout all of this, I’ll keep this thread updated and welcome any input from the CM community. I know it’s a long shot and might take some time, but it should be enjoyable! I’m super pumped and eager to begin!!
