Chastity for those living alone

Hiya I’m new to chastity and this forum. Question. Is it ok to enjoy chastity as a single person? I mean, it’s not as if someone else is controlling me. Indeed, only I have the key to use when I like. I kinda feel it’s self serving. I have to say though, in a bizarre sort of way I feel more in control of myself. And it feels good. I think I’m perhaps trying to give myself permission to enjoy something that’s secret. And secrets are often tempting……??
