Before October 2019, I tested out a few knock-off cages but couldn’t find one that was comfortable or free of pain to wear all day. As a result, my longest period in the device lasted about a day and a half at most. Somewhere along the way, I began talking with a Domme whose husband wore chastity 24/7 for roughly 18 months straight. Around that same time, while trying on a cage I hadn’t used in quite some time, I realized it was actually pretty comfortable. Locking up for several consecutive days became much more manageable.
The Domme encouraged and mentored me through the process, helping keep me locked down. She also urged me to talk things over with my wife and introduce her to chastity. Without getting too deep into details here, I did bring up chastity as a way to help my wife feel comfortable rekindling our intimacy. It didn’t go badly, but it wasn’t anything major either.
Anyway, feeling sympathetic, the Domme offered to virtually hold my key. She made the suggestion entirely on her own; I didn’t ask for it. This arrangement lasted from November through February. I wasn’t locked every single moment because skin issues under my scrotum forced me to take breaks to heal. Honestly, she was wonderful, but it got frustrating having to remove the device so often due to those problems. Eventually, I threw in the towel when I realized the cage I was using wouldn’t work for long-term wear. My longest consecutive lock up reached 19 days.
We stayed in touch afterward.
I bought a new cage in April and things looked promising until my ball slipped out again, sending me back to square one. For a while, I would only wear it at night, but that wasn’t very satisfying for me. Finally, I gave myself a complete break for about a month and fell back into old habits of masturbating (though not obsessively). I started realizing that any masturbation was holding back my progress with rekindling intimacy with my wife. So on June 30th, I decided to try again, surprisingly without any slippage issues this time. I credit the weather for helping.
I have been locked up continuously except last Thursday and Sunday, when I removed it from midday until bedtime each day. The longer I go during those hours unlocked, the less it feels like I am actually free. My next step is to bring it up with my wife again. (Trust me, I know this seems backwards for a relationship dynamic, but that’s where I currently stand.)
