Advice on choosing the right penile artery devices for a grower

I am someone who grows and gets slightly wider when turned on. Unfortunately, that increase in width seems to cause trouble when it comes time to pick out a suitable PA device. I currently use a 4ga PA and while locked up and aroused, my growth tends to push the contraption off, which places significant painful strain on the piercing site. Eventually, I have no choice but to take them off because of that tension. It feels like the reverse situation from what Thumper describes in his blog review of the Rigid Chastity Halfshell where my discomfort arises when I heat up rather than when I cool down.

So far, I have tested two PA devices - a Impaler 01 by Rigid Chastity and Cage Seven by Evolution Wearables. Between the pair, I preferred the Evolution one. It was incredibly light, adding minimal weight while feeling very secure. Yet, so far, I can only wear it for a few days before needing to remove it. I am unsure if some of this is due to how rough the part passing through my piercing feels.

Has anyone else dealt with this problem? If yes, did you find a fix?

I really favor PA secure tube or tip cover designs over trapped ball types. I have used non-PA secured trapped balls before but found it far too easy for my testicles to slip out from under the base ring. Any ring tight enough to stop that feels uncomfortably constricted when putting on. I don’t care how much those trapped ball models push my testicles forward. Consequently, Mature Metal or the Steelworxx trapped ball options don’t seem like viable choices right now. I would love to sort this out before spending another $300 or so on a new device.
