Over the years I’ve dealt with issues on my CB6000, and at one point the big 2” ring snapped right where the pins pass through. Swapping it out for their 2.5” version made a huge difference—I can now keep it on throughout the day without issue. It isn’t quite ideal for sleeping yet, but I’ve gotten rid of the chafing and no longer have to take it off during daytime hours. If you’re dealing with extra girth yourself, give one of those replacement rings (either 2 1/8” or 2.5”) a shot.
