Hey everyone, I’m heading off to get a Prince Albert piercing as soon as I finish typing this. The piercer mentioned they usually go with an 8 ga or 6 ga needle, using matching jewelry afterward. I’ve decided to just do it and opt for the 6 ga. I’ll update you later on how it went. Fingers crossed!
It's done! Not too painful; the actual needle prick was quick and surprisingly bearable. The jewelry was in within seconds of the piercing. I went with a captive bead ring, but we had one hiccup: she struggled to snap it shut onto the bead. She called over her boss (a guy with stronger hands) who managed to close it after about ten extra minutes because even he found it tricky. But luckily, there wasn't much bleeding while I was lying down. I used the restroom right before being called in, but naturally, as soon as I got home, I needed to go again and had a bit of trouble. There was some moderate bleeding then, though nothing severe. Per their advice, I wrapped it up with paper towels, so I shouldn't need to check on it until later tonight.
