Lately I’ve been dealing with some trouble from my silicone cage (birdlocked-Neo). Sleep-time erections happen often and create a lot of friction. The irritation isn’t in the ring zone, but rather inside the cage itself. Usually I can keep it on for three or four days before the rubbing becomes problematic. When my wife removes it, there are marks extending up from my scrotum along the underside of my shaft, reaching about two to three inches upward. It takes me two or three days with the device off to let everything recover. People have suggested using baby oil gel or Vaseline for better lubrication. These did reduce the severity a bit, but the friction remains. I’m not just going to endure it because these marks can turn into open sores. Getting an infection is something I want to avoid!
I am thinking about moving to metal. Before dropping over $300 on one, I wanted professional input. If steel gives me similar issues, I’ll hold off. For context, my penis size is standard—not too big or small.
Thanks
