 A few months back, I placed an order for my third piece of equipment from steelworxx. It arrived right on time. The model was the Looker 3 designed for PA use. However, the shackle used in the PA setup was excessively large, leading to persistent pinching issues. Visually, it seemed significantly bigger than what is shown on their site. I reached out to steelworxx about this. He confirmed that the size was indeed too big and recommended swapping it for a smaller model. I assumed he would simply send the replacement part over. Instead, his advice was to return the entire unit for adjustment. This happened back in mid-November. Through our email exchange, I learned the item had been stuck in customs for about two weeks while waiting on him to provide the necessary documents. In a subsequent message sent on December 11, he assured me it would leave no later than Christmas day. Just received another update from him now, and he is promising shipment as early as tomorrow!
While his products are consistently high-quality and he usually handles modifications or special requests well, I am dissatisfied with this particular experience. I have invested heavily in his gear over time, but waiting two months for an adjustment that seems to be his responsibility doesn’t feel like great customer service.
