Curiosity got the better of me—another song lyric, I believe. Anyway, I managed to snag a discounted CB6000s and gave it a test run for a bit. Here is my report in hopes that some piece of advice here might be useful.

First off, if you haven’t heard this before: I am not one of the chastity crowd. My interest comes from curiosity and enjoying sensory play. So, no keyholder involved, no grand master plan, and really no long-term future for it. Secondly, consider me a somewhat harsh old man—emphasis on harsh. I’m not trying to irritate people unnecessarily, but I won’t sugarcoat things either.

Why the 6000s? Mostly because my anatomy is short, particularly when flaccid. However, if you have larger testicles or thicker scrotal skin, you might want to rethink that and opt for the standard 6000 instead. I’m not sure it would have made a difference for me, since this device seems designed to compress the balls inward and downward. I started with the largest ring available, which was quite a tight fit.

Next is hair. This isn’t exactly a hobby for hairy men. I’m unsure if trimming would have sufficed or if you need to shave completely down to bare skin; in any case, this device doesn’t handle hair well.

Also, assemble and disassemble the unit several times before use to break it in slightly and loosen up those friction fits. When the time comes for that magical moment, all those previous reviews were absolutely correct about lube being essential. I tested all the pin lengths and found the shortest one worked perfectly.

It definitely created a visible bulge in my jeans. Yes, in the name of science, I put it on and then pulled my jeans back up. I wear relaxed-fit denim, but I looked like I was wearing a cup underneath. You could use that as an excuse, much like people who must always wear helmets because they are terrified of head injuries.

That magical moment? Well, I didn’t actually click the lock shut initially. First, it didn’t come with one included (though it should have). Second, I wasn’t sure there was any point in doing so. However, once it was secured, there was a distinct feeling of no return. A girlfriend from long ago enjoyed being tied up; she was very careful about revealing this habit for reasons I fully understand, but that’s another story. Despite knowing—or at least being certain—that I wouldn’t hurt her, she always had what I call the ‘oh shit’ moment: that look on her face after a little squirm or tug when she realizes she can’t get loose without me. I experienced that same feeling despite my certainty that the device was temporary. The excitement was intense; for a brief moment, I thought I might have an orgasm even with it in place. That tension lasted through the entire hour of testing.

The aftermath included some hair removal, one small red spot where I got pinched, and a bruised feeling in a part of my crotch. I didn’t attempt to urinate or climax during the test, though I think I could have managed it. Once cleaned and stored, I went back online to re-read various posts on this site, Sarah Jameson’s blog, and a couple of other chastity forums.

Here is where my honesty might get me booed off stage. As a bedroom game, I see the appeal. But I don’t quite grasp the whole denial concept, and some of those denial threads were utterly creepy. A year without an orgasm? An entire lifetime? And I’m not talking about the fantastical posts where a guy dreams of a hot woman locking him up in frilly girl clothes while keeping his pecker under strict control. I mean the mainstream idea of organ management. Several posts on Jameson’s blog felt genuinely disturbing, like Jenny (or Jennifer), who apparently convinced her husband into long-term denial—hopefully for life. Seriously? Or most of what’s written about Lori Lancer? To me, it feels as messed up as old-fashioned days when a husband could impose his will on his wife without it being called rape. Sure, she could leave him, but that carried its own costs too. So when I read posts from these super-controlling women waxing poetic about their strict command over hubby’s member, I think the pendulum has swung too far the other way. Yes, he can say no and leave, but in today’s legal climate (at least here in America), that carries unpleasant consequences.

Well, that was more rambling than intended, but I did warn you…I believe:) Not sure what else I have to contribute. Maybe a comparison of shop vac efficiency for wood dust…
