Keeping the Device Fresh and Dry

If you’ve been following my progress, you know the jailbird arrived yesterday. Things are going well so far. I’d like to just shower with it on, but how do you make sure everything gets completely dry? Also, I deal with bedwetting and wear an adult diaper at night (it’s the only thing that has truly “worked” for me). My morning shower is key to washing off any leftover urine. After today’s shower, even though I tried my best to dry off, there was still moisture under the ball ring hours later. This feels like a recipe for bacterial or fungal infections.

I took the cage off briefly for another proper shower and noticed it had a bit of a urine smell on it. Not a huge issue since I cleaned it up. I’ll put it back on once I’m fully dry, but… just wondering from a practical side: how do you thoroughly clean everything while caged, and then dry it all without taking the cage off?

Since everything fits well, I’m hoping to hand over the keys to my wife. Ideally, I’d remove the cage only weekly or biweekly for deep cleans… but I want to avoid smells and infections in between.
