Introductions discussion

I’ve been an active lurker and poster in the Mansion for about eight months now, so I wanted to share a few thoughts on what I gain from it and why I stick around.

I am a married woman whose husband wears chastity under an honor system, with occasional relocking using either a CB6000 or an Erosteel. We aren’t your stereotypical Domme/sub pair; we’re just “us” figuring things out as they come for our relationship.

Hub found the site first and received plenty of excellent, practical advice from men who had been through similar experiences. No one judged him for what he was attempting to do, which helped set his physical and emotional expectations for the journey ahead. At that point, we were primarily using the device as play.

I joined the Mansion a bit later when hub purchased a CB6000 and decided he wanted to be locked 24/7. Having seen the value he derived from the site, I needed to wrap my head around all the new concepts, so I started reading threads, asking questions, and writing a blog post that helped me organize my thoughts and find clarity. Some advice I threw out quickly, some took with a grain of salt, but some really benefited us both.

I’ve found this site invaluable. Although I feel I now have a good grasp—within the limits of being female—of male needs in chastity and what hub requires from me, I’ve stayed on to give back where I can. When appropriate, I offer my personal view and experience; others can take it or leave it as they wish. Some interests here don’t align with mine, and some viewpoints range from uninformed to flaky to outright hilarious, yet the community thrives because it is open and mostly non-judgmental, making it feel safe for those who might be fragile, misunderstood, or isolated. I think that’s a precious rarity in our busy, cold, and largely indifferent world. Let it continue.
