Up to now, we have only experimented with plastic numbered locks. This allows my husband to take them off if he really has to—but I would definitely know about it (and he’d better have a solid excuse).

I bought a device that comes with its own lock and keys attached. What strategies do you all use for emergency access? I prefer not handing him the key, but is holding back on that irresponsible?
