Chastity and orgasm denial discussion

Greetings everyone, I’ve been following discussions on this site for some time, and it appears that many men in chastity devices ejaculate roughly once a month or even less often. To me, that feels like an excessively long stretch without climaxing. I am 33 years old and don’t think of myself as having a particularly high sex drive—I usually reach orgasm about two to three times weekly—but by day three, I truly need relief. I can manage skipping ejaculation for a week at work stress levels are manageable, but that doesn’t occur very frequently.

I really desire to remain chaste and be sexually submissive to my partner, yet I don’t want to end up with only two orgasms per year (or fewer). That would be quite depressing, and it might make daily life difficult for me due to lack of focus among other issues. So here are my questions: Why do lockup periods tend to be so long? Is this linked to low libido levels? Do keyholders gradually increase the duration over time? And why don’t men simply lose interest?
