I used to post at the mansion, where I started a journal, but after spending time on both sites, I really prefer this one here. Here’s a quick overview of my journey up to now. My experience is likely like many others: I’ve always been sexually active and had a much higher drive than my wife. She’s quite vanilla in her preferences but open-minded enough for us to make it work. The next day, Jan 1st, I went into my first week of lockup. Since then, I’ve done a 2-week stint and a 3-week stint as well. The first one used my old device, a CB 3000. Once I realized she was serious about helping me achieve this fantasy, I ordered an inexpensive Chinese jailbird clone, which I’ve been wearing ever since. That was a couple of weeks ago, but this morning, just 3 days into my latest lockup period (a full month), I found a major issue. Over the last few days, I haven’t been feeling great—just generally under the weather, not quite achy or getting a headache, and no cold symptoms, but definitely uncharacteristically off. This morning I noticed a dark spot through the cage bars and asked to unlock it for inspection. Good thing I did! I found a half-inch diameter swelling of white blood cells around what looked like a nasty wound with a shard of chromium plate embedded deep in my skin. It was only a few millimeters down, but right in a sensitive area! After scraping out the debris and flushing the wound to ensure no metal bits remained, then applying antiseptic cream, I’m relieved it looks like it will heal properly, and the queasiness is fading. The device was sold as “Stainless Steel,” obviously that’s not true. Closer inspection reveals a copper/bronze alloy beneath the chrome layer. Yes, I’m annoyed, but mostly relieved I caught it early instead of ignoring what my body was telling me. I had suspected this might happen eventually, though you always think it won’t happen to you. What surprised me more was my wife’s reaction. She was genuinely concerned when I showed her the wound, helped clean it up, and fetched the antiseptic—it wasn’t just that she cared about the device itself, but what she said next… While we were discussing the poor quality of the “steel,” she remarked, “You might need to get a proper one you know, the ones you mentioned costing a couple of hundred pounds!” Just months ago, she never would have suggested spending that kind of money. If I wasn’t sure before, now I definitely know she’s serious…
