As the bond between my stunning partner and her Keyholder grows, I find myself thinking about how we handle lock-up durations and communicate them. Right now, I usually get told exactly how long I’ll be locked up. But as our periods extend further out, I’m questioning whether I still enjoy counting down large blocks of time while waiting for a ‘maybe’ outcome. The final result is often talked about in terms of teasing possibilities that might differ from what I imagine. What has changed most for us aiming at longer locks is the drop in my initial guilt; she now clearly sees that I am happy to ensure her complete satisfaction. It seems many female partners have a standard relationship dynamic quite different from what can happen with a chastised partner. I truly feel we are both gaining massively, and our already strong connection keeps getting better. My next planned release is in roughly three weeks, after which we aim for Christmas as my longest lock-up yet—a thrilling prospect. I used to write down ‘day 1… day two… day three…’ but considering ‘day one of 150… day two of 150’ feels like a big shift. I might stop counting altogether. How do the rest of you handle it? Is counting more common or not? I’d love to hear perspectives from both sides… Separately, I think my KeyHolder is keen on joining this forum but hasn’t picked a username yet. Fingers crossed inspiration hits soon!!
