What Have I Just Done...

Much like many others, my initial thrill with chastity faded a bit as we settled into a more regular pattern. I’d typically stay locked for about a week until she let me out for sex, then after a couple of days, she would have me lock up again. I still enjoy the dynamic, though she can be a somewhat lazy keyholder, sometimes leaving her key lying around or just letting me lock myself and hand over control. We are quite relaxed overall. Recently, between the holidays and work being short-staffed with extra busyness everywhere, life has been hectic. As mentioned, wearing my Jailbird has become second nature; I happily put it back on after a break because feeling without it starts to bother me. She isn’t very strict as a keyholder and doesn’t demand much from me. Besides the cage, we are a pretty vanilla couple with great sex whenever we have it, leading an overall wonderful marriage. A few days ago, we had a spat over something minor, spent half the day grumpy at each other, but sorted things out by evening and went to bed happy, trying to stick to our ‘never go to bed angry’ rule. This morning during breakfast, I decided to speak up and suggested an extended period of being locked. My goal was to demonstrate commitment to our marriage rather than just our sex life. I proposed pausing penetrative sex for now so we could focus on us and me becoming a better partner. I agreed to 30 days without asking to be unlocked. If she desires physical attention or pleasure, I am more than happy to provide it, but I don’t want my own physical urges to dictate the routine. I know 30 days isn’t long for some here, but that is double what I have ever managed before. By day 14 of a stint, I’m ready to lose my mind. I truly don’t know how this will go or if I’ll be begging for release before it ends. Currently, I am not even sure where both keys are, which suits me fine. Wish me luck; I can already wait for February.
