So folks… it’s been an enjoyable couple of weeks, but my wife and I had a little chat (surprisingly via email) yesterday about “MY” fantasy of staying locked up. It seems our relationship still has some friction; she hasn’t quite gotten over the hurt I’ve caused her over the years due to my alcoholism (I’ve been completely dry for 2.5 years now). She mentioned that when I was in the curve before, she didn’t really find it enjoyable—I was pretty drunk back then—and now says it brings up too many bad memories of how I used to be. Shame… I’ve been so sweet lately, but she still has issues that I don’t think can be resolved just by me wearing a cage. So, the new cage idea I’ve been pushing for—to help me become a more loving, attentive, and caring husband—is on hold. It’s a pity, people are human, and I feel we need some professional counseling. Thank you all for your kind words; there isn’t much more I can add here. Good luck to everyone, who knows? Maybe I’ll return… Thanks for the support… x
