I’ve written a few entries before, focusing mostly on trial and error with devices as well as other common problems for newcomers. You can find the best details about my current process in this archived thread:
However, I decided to kick things off here as more of a personal journal regarding my life within male chastity. Writing is something I enjoy, and since I still have plenty of beginner-style issues, maybe others just starting out might pick up some useful insights from what I’ve been through so far. My goal is also to dive deeper into the thoughts and feelings that chastity brings me personally. Oh, one more thing: right now I am self-locking, which suits me fine for the moment.
Getting started in male chastity has truly been a learning curve!! I expected there would be an adjustment period. But honestly, I thought I’d just research possible cages, choose one, strap it on and go. Maybe deal with some minor annoyances or similar things, but I didn’t expect many other issues to pop up early on. Boy, was I wrong.
I bought the HTV2 along with a small tube since my penis is petite. Reviews of Holy Trainer devices seemed like the smartest choice for me to begin with, and I appreciated that it included five different ring options. Once I got going, I took things slowly, letting my body get used to everything until about three weeks ago when I wore the HTV2 continuously for nearly a full week straight. My body eventually adjusted down to fit the 36mm ring nicely. Still, nighttime was often painful and that persistent irritation just wouldn’t go away—maybe it’s the seams in the plastic or perhaps because it is plastic? Either way, my sensitive skin wasn’t too happy with it.
Now I’ve switched over to an all-metal cage called the “Ultra Small Penis Cage.” When I first got it, I was eager to put it on right away. It measures 45 mm from the tip of the tube to the back edge of the ring. It is small, though maybe not quite “ultra” tiny depending on your anatomy.
I snagged a great deal on Amazon for this one, and despite the price, its design and build quality are excellent. I’ve been happily locked in it now for over two weeks, only removing it occasionally to trim hair or clean up before slipping it right back on. I just love using metal; it plays much better with my skin than plastic did, and the sizing feels much more accurate for me.
A few observations: —FIT IS EVERYTHING. Getting both the ring size and tube size correct is crucial to how well things work. Material matters too, especially if you have sensitive skin like I do. Since switching to this small metal cage, I’m very comfortable—in fact, sometimes I forget it’s even there.
—Hair removal is critical as well. Admittedly, I hadn’t given that much thought before either. Usually, I keep my pubic hair trimmed quite short, but when wearing a cage 24/7 you really need to remove everything entirely. The tugging and pulling caused by stray hairs can be pretty unpleasant.
—LEAKING. Goodness, I leak so much! This likely varies from guy to guy; even before chastity began, I was somewhat of a pre-cum leaker. While “training” in the HTV2, I noticed some leaking too, but now that I am locked 24/7, it’s off the charts. I wear panty liners constantly and have upgraded to maxi pads for several days each week—often most days actually because they seep through my trousers at work.
—Panties. This is partly practical since wearing those larger pads doesn’t work so well with standard men’s underwear. I never really considered myself a sissy, but honestly, I love wearing panties now! Even if I eventually stop chastity, I doubt I’ll ever go back to guys’ boxers or briefs. Women’s underwear fits me wonderfully; being small-sized means everything stays nice and tight without extra fabric bunching up like it does in men’s styles where the crotch area feels too roomy. Plus, there is something delightfully naughty about sitting at work in a suit and tie while knowing I have panties on underneath (hehe).
That last point deserves more exploration as my reasons for chastity continue to evolve alongside how I feel about it all. So that serves as a good jumping-off spot for the next post…
