Difficulties with wearing a device? discussion

I’ve been trying to locate a suitable long-term wear device, and I have managed up to eight consecutive nights before the ring-burn forced me to remove it. Currently wearing my fourth inexpensive Chinese model which is getting properly adjusted. Once confident in the fit and design, I’ll place an order for something custom-made. While I’ve discovered a really good lotion that lasts well, I’m curious whether daily greasing after showering will be necessary. If the cage fits right with the correct ring size, do you ever reach a stage where simply towel-drying is enough?
