I actually went self-locked a couple of days early, starting September 28th while I was traveling for work. When I returned home on the 30th, I handed over the keys to my wife and told her they were hers until November! The next morning, I emailed her explaining why I wanted some chastity—not quite full lifestyle, but a longer-term engagement up to about a month or six weeks. I outlined what this benefits her and what I want while locked in: primarily that she doesn't just put the device on and forget it. I need her to remind me that she knows I'm secured. I forgot to add that this will be the longest I've been locked. It's my first time in this new stainless steel chastity device with her holding the keys (I have self-locked frequently enough to know the cage fits well and has no issues). As far as I can tell, I don't even need to take it out for cleaning. So, barring any sex from me that requires removal, we are looking at 34 days of continuous lock-up!

After she read my email, the keys vanished from their usual spot and went into hiding!:) She hasn't done much teasing or signaling yet that she's thinking about me.
