Hi everyone. I haven’t spotted a review for this yet, so here it is.

To give some context: my starting point was the CB6000s. Aside from being enclosed and tricky to clean over long-term use, they also tend to break if you drop them—which most of us already know. Before committing fully to a custom model, I opted for a more affordable steel option, particularly because I had a clear idea of the dimensions and specs I needed.

I picked one similar to this with a 50mm base ring:

This unit is actually stainless steel, likely 304 grade. The cage measures 52mm, which is slightly shorter than the CB600s’ 65mm length, and has a diameter of about 33mm. The individual rings forming the cage are flattened with softened edges, joined together at the bottom.

The end of the cage is open, allowing for easy relief—no more sitting down to pee! Yes!

The cuffs designed for the integrated lock seem well-welded directly to the cage and appear cast to match the base ring. Or maybe it was just an excellent welding job. The base ring looks cast as well; it has a somewhat diamond-like shape, slightly bent inward horizontally.

My unit came highly polished with no burrs, nicks, or other visible issues. The fittings for the integrated lock mate together very securely. Perhaps too securely—there is minimal play between the parts, so everything must align perfectly to engage the lock properly. However, once locked in place, it feels extremely sturdy. I haven’t experienced any wiggling, pinching, or snagging of stray hairs.

This particular version shows high craftsmanship; I can hardly find fault with its construction.

This model also includes a Points of Intrigue ring that attaches to the cage’s mounting posts. These points are much sharper than expected—almost piercing skin sharp! I tried it once and will need to soften them down quite a bit before regular use.

I find the base ring significantly more comfortable than the circular one on the CB6000s of similar size. Sometimes, I barely remember it’s still on me. Nighttime wear has been very manageable from day one. The only morning discomfort occurs when the scrotal skin gets pinched together, but that happens roughly every third or fourth day. A bit of lubrication before bed helps considerably.

The open cage design allows some skin to bulge out slightly during arousal, which can be good or bad. It’s beneficial because my wife has something new to tease me with, and I get more sensation from the teasing. The downside is potential pinching when it happens. I just view it as a constant reminder that I remain locked.

Finally, while this model is slightly less discreet than the highly discreet CB6000s, the advantages—especially overall comfort, cleanliness, and suitability for long-term wear—make it worth it. This has now become my wife’s chosen device for me to wear.
