Hi everyone! This is my debut post on this forum, although I’ve been reading along for a while. I’m looking to hear what you think about picking out my first metal device, with the aim of wearing it long-term—at least for a month or more, potentially forever. <3 I’ve been practicing chastity for quite a bit and finally worked up the nerve to try something new. Like many others here, I found myself swamped by bad advice early on. A classic example: “The CB-6000 is the ultimate device.” How wrong was I! Fortunately, I picked up an affordable knockoff without breaking the bank. It’s not flawless, but it lets me test the waters to see if this lifestyle suits me, and so far, I think it does. Most of you probably know the main complaints about the CB series and why we tend to dislike them, but here are my specific gripes with mine and what I hope a metal device will fix:

1. The overall design isn’t really built for long-term use. Even after lots of tweaking and finding the right combination of parts, I can only wear it for a few days before the ring edges start chafing me badly. Even after modifying the base rings (those cheap I-beam knockoffs) to reduce gaps, it becomes too much after about 3-4 days, forcing me to take it off.
2. Hygiene is tough with this device. If I want a proper clean and need to get rid of odors, I have to remove it for roughly 15 minutes every day. That clearly doesn’t support continuous wear well.
3. Even though I own the CB-6000s, they are just too long (standard sizing). I’m average height-wise when erect but am a bit of a ridiculous grower—small when flaccid and much larger later on. So, my cage needs to be about half as short as the CB-6000s to keep me properly contained. This brings us to metal cages. I can’t justify spending 600 CAD on something from MM; it’s just out of budget right now. However, I feel fairly confident in knowing my sizes (famous last words!). Through using the CB, I’ve figured out what specs I need: same diameter as the CB at 1 3/8”. It doesn’t feel too loose inside, and since I don’t bunch up against the back much, I can grow into it without getting stuck. For length, when relaxed during the day in my CB, there’s about an inch of space left before the end of the tube is constant, so I need around 1 1/2” or 35-40mm. The gap should be fine with a standard 3/8”. The real challenge is getting the base ring size right because every device interacts differently with anatomy—both between different devices and between different men’s bodies. So, I’ll likely buy a few to test them out (unfortunately, knockoffs usually offer limited choices). With all that said, I’ve narrowed it down to one specific device and would love your thoughts on whether my choice is sound. Initially, my pick was this model: The measurements look right for me, but the length runs a bit long. More importantly, they don’t accept PayPal, which limits my options. Plus, who wants to wait two months for shipping from China and worry about whether it arrives in discreet packaging? So I started searching elsewhere for something similar. After browsing these forums more (someone else pointed me here while I was lurking), I found this site and specifically this device: This one matches all my measurements, ships quickly and discreetly, and the noiseless lock is a big plus. Do you think this model would work for me? Has anyone used it before—did you love it or hate it? What’s your take? I look forward to hearing from you (and I apologize for this massive wall of text).
