I’ve been using the Bon4M with a modified solid ring fairly regularly, but I’m drawn to adding a security screw. There’s something about being BOLTED in that feels sexier than just having a padlock. No more lock flopping around and causing pinches or rattles. Earlier, I crafted a screw pin from what I believed was stainless steel, but it ended up rusting. Last week, I tried again, creating a new pin from an old stainless bolt, tapping it to accept a 10-32 screw, and polishing the result. A small hole partway back holds a tiny pin that I slide in while tightening the screw to prevent loosening. Stainless Torx security screws with pins are on their way. Now I just need to hand over any driver bits that fit to my wife. It fits snugly without shifting. I spotted an image of a polished B4M and really loved how it looked. We already think of this as my “jewelry,” so when it was off, I buffed everything until it had a nice bright shine. I like the result better than the brushed finish, and it’s far more interesting than plastic (though the HT remains the most comfortable). Hey, since I can’t play with myself and she isn’t always in the mood, I have to find something else to do, right? Bon4M with security pin for a screw instead of a padlock.
