Steelworxx Steelheart measurements and sizing advice

Alright, I didn’t want to hijack danj’s steelheart thread with my own questions, so I figured I’d start a new one for myself and get some advice. I’m currently in a CB3000, which I’ve had for about four years and worn off and on. I think the longest I wore it straight without taking it out even for cleaning was around 18 days. The longest continuous wear with brief unlock periods is just over two months, and I didn’t have any issues at all. It’s quite comfortable, or as good a plastic cage can be when locked around your cock and balls:D. Cleaning it is relatively easy, and it feels secure enough for me. In the shower, and sometimes outside, I can pull out with ease. While I’d like something more secure than this, I’m not too worried about escape. What really captivates me is just wearing a device rather than worrying if it’s inescapable. I’ve considered getting a PA and even mentioned it to my wife, but she isn’t keen on the idea. Since a PA isn’t much of a turn-on for me personally and I’d only get one for security reasons, it doesn’t seem worth the extra cost right now. To sum up, I want to upgrade to a Steelheart. I haven’t asked her about how she feels regarding the aesthetics of my current CB3000, but I’m pretty sure she isn’t fond of its looks. She hasn’t fully embraced the whole chastity concept yet either, so it’s unclear if she dislikes the clear plastic device itself or chastity in general. However, I think she would like the Steelheart better; it resembles a piece of stainless steel jewelry more closely. Plus, stainless steel is generally considered superior for hygiene. There are also some minor comfort issues with the CB3000. The holes where the pins insert have sharp edges that sometimes rub uncomfortably. Once while wearing it, I split the cage plastic—a not-so-fun experience! It held together after gluing, but I don’t want to keep pushing my luck. I’d like to demote the CB3000 to a backup role and switch to full metal. Here are the specs of my CB300 from the AL Enterprises website combined with what I’ve measured: CB 3000 measurements: Ring size: 1 5/8” (Solid ring, purchased sometime after buying the original CB3000) Tube Inside Diameter: 1.45” Length: 3” (per AL Enterprises website) Gap size: 6 mm (measured with a ruler while locked on) The fit is decent, though I’m certain I could go shorter. I’m not particularly small or large. When erect, I measure almost exactly 6 inches and don’t have much girth. Flaccid length varies quite a bit between 2 to 3 inches. Often when flaccid, the head of my penis binds up against the top part of the cage before it can flare out properly. Unless I’m hard or semi-hard, there’s usually at least half an inch of empty space in the end of the CB3000 tube. As for diameter, I often feel myself touching the inside walls. Converting those sizes to millimeters gives me: Ring Size: 41.3 mm Tube Inside Diameter: 36.83 mm Length: 76.2 mm Gap Size: 6 mm Looking at the Steelheart on their website, getting close to these numbers would look like this roughly: Ring Size: 40 mm Inside Diameter: 35 mm Length: 76 mm Gap Size:?? I’m a bit confused about what length I need for the Steelheart. Should I reduce that 76 mm? If I cut off half an inch, it becomes 64 mm in tube length—is that too short? Also, should I be comparing my CB3000 and Steelheart lengths directly to ensure an apples-to-apples comparison? I’ve done plenty of research, but I’d like some advice and confirmation from others who have bought the Steelheart before I spend at least $300 on one. Plus, I want all my facts straight for when my wife asks what she should get me this Christmas:D
