I’ve been pondering which device to choose, and the CB6000S feels like it fits my interests and budget best right now. Retailers claim you can wear them easily during ‘active lifestyle’ activities, but I want feedback from actual users. Since we’re mostly in winter here, I’m just walking a bit, exercising lightly, swimming, and avoiding intense sports.
However, my job is quite physical. I work in EMS, so on any given day I might be climbing in and out of the ambulance, working inside a vehicle with a crash victim, or handling other high-energy responses. That accounts for about 15% of my annual workload. It’s mostly just lots of movement—getting into and out of trucks, moving patients around in the back, etc. I’d hate to buy one only to seriously injure myself or have it exposed too much (though our uniform pants are VERY bulky).
So how well do these devices handle various job tasks and high-activity work?
