Mature Metal discussion

Hello all, I’ve finalized my base ring size, so now I need to dial in the cage diameter. Then it’s time to place the order!:) I’m torn between choosing a 1 ½” ring or one that’s 1 5/8”. The 1 ½” feels the tightest, though I’m questioning whether it might be too snug. After three days of trial runs, it rests at my shaft’s narrowest point and leaves a faint indentation mark without any chafing. When I try to slide it up and down, there is decent friction as it moves along the central part of the shaft. When pushed toward either the base or near the head, it gets slightly stickier but remains manageable. The 1 5/8” ring feels a bit more relaxed yet still qualifies as snug. If my penis happens to be flaccid compared to usual, you might spot a tiny gap between the skin and the ring edge. Often though, that space is barely noticeable. Moving it along the shaft provides about 90% contact with the surface, although there’s less resistance than with the tighter option. So I’m undecided: will the smaller 1 ½” be too constricting? Or could the larger 1 5/8” cause irritation if my member shifts around inside? If it does rub, there isn’t an easy way to tell while wearing a cage:-( Any insights would be much appreciated!:)
