Reducing the Base Ring Size

Hi everyone. I’ve had the jailbird on for roughly 45 days continuously now. It’s super comfortable, though I can fit two fingers under the base ring, which makes it feel a bit loose. Wearing relaxed shorts allows it to slide down slightly, loosening the cage further. Comfort-wise, however, it’s excellent.

For about a week, I experimented with a smaller base ring. The gap remained similar, but there was significantly more burning and pinching, making comfort harder to achieve. On the plus side, the cage held its position much better.

I switched back to the larger ring today, returning to zero pain; it’s so comfortable I barely notice it. My testicles don’t slide through regardless of which ring I use, so from a security standpoint, both options are equal.

My question is: will my body eventually adjust to the smaller ring? Or am I destined to feel that constant burn and tightness forever? I realize individual results vary greatly, but I’d love to know how others managed the transition down in size and what timeline they experienced.
