Is Baby Oil Providing Enough Slipperiness?

Hi everyone. I’m still using the cb6000 right now, waiting for my holy trainer to arrive.. It feels like Christmas and it just needs to get here quicker. Anyway, as we all know, you need some lube in there occasionally to stop chafing etc. The other day I used baby oil to put on my cage. Not sure if I applied too much or not? But soon after, I looked down and could tell it wasn’t sitting right. Everything had shifted downward and my penis slipped out, along with one testicle. Only one ball was keeping the cage in place. I had to drive to my girlfriend’s workplace (about a 30-minute trip) to retrieve the key because she accidentally took the spare one.. Sigh. Eventually got it off though. Back home, I tried on a smaller ring. I normally wear the 1 7/8 but switched down to the 1 3/4. That lasted about an hour until my nuts turned cold and purple so I had to take it off. But then I put the 1 7/8 back on with baby oil, and again it slipped after just a short while. Actually, I wasn’t doing much activity; I think I was sitting in my computer chair during the first incident. I’ve worn this cage for several days before without issue. This time was different because it was the first time using baby oil to put it on. Any advice on what went wrong? Thanks Also, attached is a photo showing how things looked when they got messed up
