First proper cold week here and I have discovered something nobody warned me about. Getting dressed in a cold bedroom at seven in the morning is now an event.
It is not painful and it is not dangerous, it is just a shock every single time, and it stays cold for a good ten minutes after everything else has warmed up. Same story stepping outside.
Is this simply what a metal device in winter is, or do people do something sensible I have not thought of?
