Difficulties with wearing a device? discussion

I got lucky with my first buy and found a device that fits well. I’ve experimented with other models, but nothing matches the comfort of this affordable Chinese metal cage.

The main drawback is that the vertical bars at the rear keep “hooking” into my urethra. Hook might not be quite right since it doesn’t hurt, but it’s irritating to have to constantly nudge my glans and reposition myself every time I go to the bathroom. Even after rearranging multiple times, that left bar keeps catching me. My penis seems to curve slightly to the left naturally, so I’m battling anatomy here, though surely others experience this too. It makes me question why most steel cage designs use vertical bars rather than horizontal ones.

Does anyone else know a workaround?
