I’ve placed an order for a tight-fitting device featuring a flexible urethral tube. Does anyone have experience with wearing such a tube continuously over a longer period? For my part, I haven't encountered any issues. The longest I've kept the insert in without taking it out is eight days. When I first started using it, I didn't trim the urethral tube down enough, which caused it to poke too far and create some pain. After a few days of rest, I adjusted it; now mine extends just beyond the base ring, making urination much easier. I prefer not to try pulling it out myself, but you do hear cautionary tales about infections etcetera. In my view, those problems likely stem from tubes being too long, individual health factors that make one more susceptible to infection, and hygiene practices.
