Male Chastity Now discussion

I previously asked about the Contender versus the Jailbird in a thread under the Mature Metal section. Since I went with Male Chastity Now for my Contender, I decided to start this new discussion here.

The Contender got here yesterday. Mark shipped it out quickly—(it wasn’t his fault that the cage took a long detour through New York and back down to the west coast before reaching me). The build quality is excellent. Dealing with Mark was great, and I highly recommend him.

I wore the device all evening without any issues, so I decided to keep it on overnight. Mostly everything went smoothly, except for nocturnal erections. When those occurred, the cage would tug forward, creating a tingling sensation under the shaft near the base ring. Drawing some skin through helped relieve that tingle and returned things to normal. Is this typical? Will the tingling settle down over time, or should I consider a larger base ring? While flaccid, there is no trouble sliding a finger underneath the ring up to the first knuckle, as many have recommended.
