weird question to ask...
when I'm in a crowd - on transit, at an event, walking down a busy road etc. - do I wonder if everyone else is bare while I have my **chastity cage** locked up?
is there just me wearing one here?
it's not really about getting an answer, obviously... more of a moment comparing myself to the people around me.

You might be unique in that feeling. I honestly can't say for sure because it doesn't cross my mind much. Around here, I'm fairly confident no one else is locked up.

It usually slips past me unless my wife (who dom/kh's) brings it up when we're out or driving. Otherwise, if no one mentions it, I mostly forget about the device while having dinner or doing other things, provided I'm not feeling aroused.
