Best Device or Style for Physically Demanding Work

A friend of mine is considering putting her partner in a cage. Her main worry is that he works in construction; she’s unsure if he could manage wearing a device while doing his job. Any advice or tips would be great. With the ball trap design I use, my scrotum feels wider and my movement shifts slightly, but I’m not sure how it would hold up during daily physical labor. So far, regular household chores and yard work have been no trouble at all.
