Buyer Beware

I recently bought a couple of items from ‘lockthecock’. One was their stainless steel option, featuring the “put a ring on it” design. It began well—fitting nicely and feeling comfortable. However, a few weeks into Locktober while I was cleaning it, I spotted some rust spots along the seam at the bottom.

I assumed that since they claim to be rust-proof on their own site, they’d handle this issue. After reaching out, they replied that such things shouldn’t occur with their products but offered a discount if I purchased another one instead.

So it seems not only are their quality questionable, but so is their support for the items.

As my KH puts it, we’ll likely need to save up for something custom-made. Until then, other alternatives will have to do.
