Holy Trainer Inquiries

I’ve been using the holy trainer for roughly a month with very few problems so far. Lately, after removing it, I notice an indentation forming on the upper part of the shaft, located about a third of the way down. Has anyone else experienced this? Is the mark likely caused by the cage section or perhaps the area near the integrated lock? Thank you.
