The name says it all: I’m a real chef who runs an upscale eatery. Yesterday afternoon, I did a quick photo session for a local food magazine that will soon feature me on the cover. It’s not a huge deal—they’re printing around 250k copies and keeping it regional—but towards the end, I caught myself chuckling. Here I was in Jailbird, posing for pictures that would go everywhere. Naturally, you couldn’t see any trace of it, with nothing to give it away. It got me thinking: surely I’m not the first guy secretly locked up while his photo travels around? As I said, it made me laugh, and I have a feeling the photographer just thought I was giving her a lovely smile.
